Another problem with factory mounts is they generally are fluid filled for comfort as well as cost savings. The problem with this is when the rubber fails, the fluid is no longer contained and leaks out of the mount rendering it useless. Many aftermarket companies combat these problems by creating a non-liquid mount focused on strength with zero regard to comfort.
