Our 04-07 CTS-V solid engine mounts are a direct bolt-in replacement for worn stock mounts. They will fit just like the factory engine mounts with no other modifications required. If you are looking at CTS-V solid engine mounts you already know the benefits and how they reduce engine movement to an absolute minimum. which allows all the horsepower to be used at the rear wheels instead of being absorbed by drive train flex. As with all solid motor mounts, the vibrations of the engine will be transferred into the vehicle. If your car is street driven and/or a daily driver we recommend you to see our polyurethane engine mounts, available in 3 polyurethane stages, while stiffer than the factory mounts they will isolate much of the engines vibrations without transferring into the vehicle. They are also strong enough to hold the most powerful of engines in place.
What sets Creative Steel solid mounts apart from other manufactures are the materials used and how they are designed. We use one piece of the highest quality threaded rod which is threaded through the entire length of the aluminum portion of the mount and Loctited in place. How this makes CS Mounts better than others on the market is.. #1) the threaded studs you see coming out of each end of the mounts are actually ONE piece, which means there is no load on the aluminum threads that hold it in position, the threaded rod must be “stretched” to its breaking point in order to fail, very difficult. #2) with the threaded rod being permanently attached to the aluminum section the mount, the mount can be installed much easier, just like the factory mounts.

After having the “Other companies” 95A mounts I noticed these. Even with their 95A the engine was still shaking at turn off and flexing under load. I thought it was going to fall off during dyno. Also between the two mounts it added a lift to the engine by about ½ an inch thus removing the bellhousing was impossible. I had to tear everything down to get back to the motor mounts to take one off to drop the motor down.
Anyway, I put these mounts in and problems are solved. Bellhousing went back in and there is literally no movement of the engine at any point. If you are looking for the final solution to never changing the mounts again get these. Yes, it vibrates. No it’s not that bad. I run cut outs and a monster clutch so things are already boisterous.

Coming from 95A motor mounts, i wanted the piece of mind of never changing these out ever again. My V is built bottom end, heads & cam, and im gonna be pushing 700+ and i needed something durable to handle the torque. These mounts aren’t for everybody, but if you’re pushing serious horsepower, i wouldn’t even recommend anything else. Vibrations are apparent, but they’re tolerable.

I stand behind these solid motor mounts 100%! A lot of people told me to stay away from them due to vibrations and said I would hate them, but I’m so glad I didn’t listen!!! There is definitely some added vibrations and rattles but definitely not as crazy as everyone made it seem. The best part about them is I never have to worry about them again witch is nice because it’s a pain in the ass, especially if you’re running long tube headers. If you ask me I’d most definitely recommend going solids 10/10
