09-11 Mercedes SL63 AMG Polyurethane Differential bushings

The OEM Mercedes differential bushings are very soft which make them ideal for isolating noise and vibrations; however, they enable wheel hop and reduced vehicle handling. If performance was the only concern, the differential would be mounted rigidly to the subframe and not rubber mounted. Unfortunately Mercedes designs their vehicles with the main concern being comfort and leaves a lot to be desired from a performance standpoint. We have engineered these bushings to find that fine line of going as stiff as possible without introducing any more road noise.

Creative Steel’s polyurethane Differential bushings for the SL63 are a direct replacement for the OEM Mercedes rubber bushings. The polyurethane we chose for these Mercedes differential bushings is much stronger than the OEM bushings. Not only are the bushings physically stronger but they will last longer too. Additionally, we have designed them without any air gap unlike the factor bushings. These three attributes are what make the polyurethane differential bushings a much better design for performance.

If you have not already installed our polyurethane subframe bushings, we recommend installing those first or at the same time. While the Mercedes differential bushings are a great upgrade, you will not gain their full potential without stiffening the subframe first.
